This collection consists of 3 statements of duties performed, one for John Agnew, Inspector of Customs, Sault Ste Marie, Oct. 31, 1838 for third quarter 1838, one for Abraham Wendell, Collector of Customs, Michilimackinac, Jan. 15, 1839 for fourth quarter 1838, and one for the Inspector of the Customs, Sault Ste Marie, Apr. 1, 1839 for first quarter 1839. Also in the collection are two letters, both letters from Abraham Wendell, Jan. 19, 1839 to Levi Woodbury, Secretary of the U.S. Treasury. The last item in the collection is a daily account of time employed of Lambert Beaubien, Temporary Inspector of the Customs, River Rouge, Apr. 19, 1839 for first quarter 1839.
